What changes the price
Four things move the number more than anything else.
- Rental length. Weekly and monthly bookings drop the per-day rate sharply. A car that is AED 1,500 a day can work out a few hundred dirhams cheaper per day on a monthly deal.
- The model and its age. A current-year Cullinan costs more than a sedan from a couple of years back.
- Mileage limits. Most luxury rentals include a daily kilometre allowance. Some Rolls Royce models, for example, are set at 250 km a day, with a small charge after that.
- Season. Rates climb during peak winter months and big events, and ease off in summer.
Rule of thumb: budget AED 700 to AED 1,500 a day for a luxury sedan or SUV, and AED 2,500 upward for a Rolls Royce.
Is a deposit included in the cost?
